Pattern and Tutorial: Shaped 5-digit Handpaws

This shaped and detailed handpaw design is fantastically fun to wear. Just the right blend of dexterity and shaped animalistic fingers. Each filled out with an easy to maintain individual pillow stuffer that sits above the wearer’s fingers when worn. The pattern offers two types of finger digits; slim and puffy, with three sizes of claws to use. Each can be mixed and matched to better represent the creature you are creating!

This pattern’s design focus was to achieve a dexterous, comfortable, good-looking and detailed set of paws that could match many species due to its anthropomorphic look and mixing of slim and puffy digits as needed. Its shape was designed to match my art and how I draw the paws on my illustrated characters, which often have 5-digits. This has been my trusted handpaw pattern for so many years!! I am proud to finally be sharing it with other crafters who may enjoy its look and versatility.

It includes a detailed 40-page tutorial for making and sewing the handpaw pattern with step-by-step instructions and 90+ pictures. Tutorial text is written in English. The pattern itself is designed to be printed. Included is letter-sized (8.5x11 inch) and a4-sized (210x297 mm) formatted PDFs for printing. An 18-page bonus tutorial on the topic of Applique Paw Pads is also included!
