Premium Tutorial: Making a Mannequin Head to Measurements

This is a tutorial designed to show how to make use of an inexpensive styrofoam wig head and transform it into something truly useful by using low cost materials. The goal is to create a head mannequin that better matches measurements of your (or a client’s) head. It is highly useful for creating costume and fursuit heads!

Wig heads themselves are much too small to use for creating a costume head alone. They often match only the smallest wearer as-is. The majority of people will absolutely need to pad out the wig head to accurately match their own head’s dimensions. Due to how cheap and common wig heads are, they’re a fine place to begin for creating a head that DOES fit!

This includes a detailed 6-page tutorial with step-by-step instructions. Tutorial text is written in English. Included is letter-sized (8.5x11 inch) formatted PDF.
