Premium Tutorial: Making tidy seams using tipped faux furs

$6.50

Sometimes specialty fur fabrics need special treatment on the seams. Here is a technique that will help you achieve a seamless look on furs that otherwise tend to obviously show seams, such as furs that have a different color at the base of the fur versus its’ tip. This is also useful for very dense and shiny fur fabrics of any length.

In this guide you will also find tips on altering existing visible seams to hide the seamline and fix this issue. Such as for purchased or refurbished items. The advantage to this technique is not only the finish level you get as the end result, but also being able to take action and treat and improve visible seams that have already been sewn on long-finished projects.

This technique includes solutions for various ways to reduce the appearance of seams on projects using tipped, realistic, dense, shiny, or patterned faux furs that otherwise show seams easily. It includes a detailed 10-page tutorial with step-by-step instructions. Tutorial text is written in English. Included is letter-sized (8.5x11 inch) formatted PDF.
